Neil Young Tickets

I watched my favorite musician and story teller preform in an intamite outdoor setting. He played for 90 minutes in the damp cool night. The sound was fantastic, and it was not to loud. I was happy to pay the $530 for my ticket. Not only did I get to see my idol play and sing very colse to where I live, we all got to help out a very good cause. At one point I could hear the frogs croaking in the background there was so many of them. It brought to me a feeling of sitting around a campfire and having Neil over to play and sing around it. When he played "Long May You Run"It brought chills all through me. I will tell you why. My best buddy from when I was young got me hooked on Neil's Music. He has since passed about 29 years ago. About 10 years ago I was driving home from Alberta As I was coming through Blind River Ontario, I heard "Long May You Run"play from my playlist and it brought a special meaning to me. I had been thinking of my buddy then and voila the song came on at the right moment. I think he was sending me a message through Neil's music. I love Neil's songs and his story telling like no other, they never get old. Sorry for the long winded story about that, but it shows how Neil Young has touched me deeply with his music.

Great show but the logistics of having it in the back field of a farm was a poor choice considering the constant rain and cool temperature.

As soon as we heard rumours there may be a special benefit concert by Neil Young for Lakefield College School I knew it would be something incredible. We waited for the official announcement and finally the ticket sales. Initially we were taken aback at the ticket prices, but it was a benefit for Lakefield College and it was NEIL YOUNG!!! My home is in the Village of Lakefield, virtually across the lake (Katchewanooka) from the Northcote Farm. How could I not be a part of what can only be a once in a lifetime intimate performance amoung neighbours, friends and Neil Young lovers. The rain was relentless and the temperatures well below seasonal. None of it mattered. Neil Young (in his 80th year) was on stage and the stage was on fire. A one man show full of music and love. Every note clean and crisp, every melody and every lyric broke through the mist of the rain and melted into our minds, hearts and very souls. We were treated to many of his classics and a few special songs which spoke to Neil and the audience in ways that cannot be expressed with words. I feel blessed to have been a part of this evening. Seeing and supporting live music is an important part of my life as I regularly travel to various concerts and festivals. I have seen Neil Young in concert before with his full band - one time being honoured with literal on stage tickets. This time however was beyond special. See you around the lakes Neil <3

Went and saw Neil Young at The Farm at Lakefield Collage was a small venue 5 thousand or so people great staff of volunteer's willing to help. He played a few hits harvest moon , cinnamon girl to a few i havent heard before. it was the best Neil concert i had attended out of the 6 concerts i have seen him this was the one . long may you run Neil long may you run. thank you for your charity to raise money for The Farm send a request for video i recourded most of it

I flew from Australia to go to this concert. Back in the day, my sisters and I lived on Chemong Lake and took a school bus to Lady Eaton Primary School in Omemee. I moved to Australia in 1982 and thought I would never see Neil Young live. Well, I got pre-sales as an old-boy from LCS and (possibly alcohol induced) I declared 'bugger it' and got 4 primo seats and booked flights for my partner and I. We took some local friends along with guys from the year of '81. Well, it did drizzle a little bit but we were all appropriately dressed. Neil was amazing, far surpassing my expectations - pitch perfect and sounding awesome. The sound production was also excellent. I am in the airport at Pearson as I write this, on the way home to Perth. Could not have asked for more. Awesome and a bucket list item ticked in spectacular fashion.

Neil gave a great performance. His voice is great for 79. Venue was very good for a one time event . Some people were impatient with the shuttle buses departing the event. I thought it went well.

Great show even in the rain Neil was awesome the venue was great, well organized went off flawlessly. Thanks Neil will remember this the rest of my life.

wow, of all of the incredible shows we have been to around the world, friday night in the farm with Neil may have topped them all! the setting, the sound, the setlist and even the rain made for an unforgettable night

Neil Young in Lakefield was a once in a lifetime experience that far exceeded my expectations! Neil played an unbelievable setlist, including some old classics that he hadn't played in almost 40 years. Every song you'd want to hear from his acoustic catalogue from Harvest, After The Goldrush and other albums were played. He was very engaging with the audience and sounded amazing. With only 2,000 people in the crowd, it was basically like being at a campfire sing-a-long with Neil Young. So glad I went to support this important fundraising initiative. Neil was amazing.
