  • Budweiser Stage

by Maf on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The concert was good but the sound system was terrible. It was loud enough, but not clear enough to even recognize what songs the band was playing. Found this to be a problem last year as well. I will not be going back to this venue until the sound system is upgraded.

  • We loved Tedeschi Trucks

    by Honey’s Mum on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks are amazing musicians. Their guitar playing skills incredible. (Best we have ever seen) Every member of the band is very talented. We couldn’t have enjoyed the concert more. To make the evening even better; the weather was outstanding.

It was a night of soaring music. A night of Fantastic musicianship and a real festival atmosphere. Margo Price was a great choice for an opening act!

  • Stellar

by Sanchez on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Been a fan of the music for some time but this was my first time seeing them live. The sound at the Budweiser Amphitheatre has always been good but the sound man is top notch. Excesses my expectations, what a great show! Can’t wait to see them again.

  • Tedeshi Trucks Orchestra was the best!

by Jennipoo on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Yes, orchestra! A gathering of great artists Susuan Tedeshi was awesome, as Derek Trucks, I was expecting that, tbh. The accompanied band was a bonus. Great evening!

by JerryO on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Simply the best touring band out there. Great music by a group of master musicians. If you don't know them, you owe it to yourself to find out about them. Seeing them live.... magical!

  • Ethereal Magic

by Ian Harvey on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

So last night's Trucks Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Bud Stage was fantastic. At times it was Gospel, especially their take on Bound For Glory with one of the back up singers taking lead. I don't know all their songs by name but the level of all around musicianship was amazing. Dual drummers, three piece horn section, a bass player who sat most of the show and seemed to have restless less syndrome) two male and a female back up trio (each one a lead singer in their own right and taking a turn at the front) a keyboard guy who was out of this world and of course the main act, Mr. Trucks and Ms Tedeschi the most musical couple I have ever seen. Everyone talks about Derek's slide skills but let me point out that Susan is no slouch as a slick six string slinger (noted the BB King signature among many others on her telecaster BTW). Derek of course was a child prodigy, playing live with the Allman Brothers at 12 and learning slide from Duane Allman. He's also the quietest, least dynamic rock God I've ever seen. Derek is no showman. No vocalist. He just lets his unique style of play on his basic Gibson SG Signature speak for him. He is stoic yet all engrossing. If I have two criticisms it's that the sound got a little muddy around the 300 level I I would have liked some engagement with the audience. I get this has been a long tour which I think began in Feb. and goes on to Nov. 16. They were all a little mechanical at times and seemed tired. We got on introduction of the band which I couldn't hear that well and no introduction of songs. Maybe a Qcode so we could follow along? I dunno. I think the audience is always part of the show and I didn;t feel that last night. Still, there were moments of guitar and vocal greatness and moments when this 12 piece band created a wall of pulsating sound while the solos and vocals soared above, around, weaving in and out. For whatever reason, and I'm not religious, it was ethereal and there were times where there were tears in my eyes it was so stunning. The band is definitely the sum of the parts, not the parts in isolation. These guys love playing together and you feel that.

  • Wonderful show

by Great ensemble on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The husband and wife team, as well as fantastically talented musicians made this show one of my best live show experiences in years.

  • Amazing Band!

by Yanna on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Expected great performance, and then these amzingly talented people exceeded my expectations!!!! Felt elevated and had goosebumps during certain arrangements and sequences, as if taken to Church! Great job guys, thank you!

  • Great Band - Lousy Sound

by Wild Paul on 2024-08-18Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The Budweiser stage is the worst music venue in the city sound wise. If you just want to see the band then no problem. But if you want to hear good clean sound from the band you need to see them somewhere else.

  • Extraordinary!!!

by Dedlock on 2024-07-28Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The band were sensational. It was one of the best shows that I have seen in Vancouver in years. The QE is a wonderful place to see a show, and the staff were very good at handling the more irritating and obstructive members of the crowd.

  • Fantastic

by Blues Gals on 2024-06-03Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

We have been wanting to see this band for years but never saw any concerts in western Canada. Thank goodness this year I was able to secure 2 tickets for the Vancouver show. (Would have gone to Seattle or Portland to see this). They were amazing…I knew they would be a ten, but, oh my, they were an 11. 🎸🎷🎺👏🎤 Just wished they had played longer!!! I definitely will be on the lookout for tickets to this amazing band again! Loved every minute of it!

  • Amazing show, great horn section.

by Tibs on 2024-05-30Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The band was great and Tedeschi and Trucks were excellent.

  • What a great concert

by Big Fan on 2024-05-30Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

They had 12 people in the band including two drummers with two full drum sets and 3 person horn section. There was no back up band. They played two full sets with one intermission and encore. Takes me back to a typical Allman Brothers Band concert with lots of free play by all musicians and fun jamming. Although I could not hear their names over the crowd cheering them when introduced, the backup singers were exceptional with each doing a brilliant solo. Susan Tedeschi is still one of the best female blues musicians I have ever heard. Trucks were fantastic on the guitar. One of the great ones. Very very talented people.

  • Great time

by Gvid on 2024-05-29Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Exceeded our expectations!!! We love this band and could wait to see them live! We were blown away !!All 12 musicians put on a great show !
