Switchfoot are a Grammy-winning rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1996 by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman and drummer Chad Butler, the group released three albums before gaining major label attention following several prominent syncs in the 2002 romantic drama A Walk to Remember. In 2003, Switchfoot released their breakout fourth album The Beautiful Letdown, which went triple-platinum behind the band’s first Hot 100-charting singles “Meant to Live” and “Dare You to Move.” Their 2005 follow-up, Nothing Is Sound, hit a career-peak No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and the band would log another three Top 10 albums with 2011’s Vice Verses, 2014’s Fading West and 2016’s Where the Light Shines Through. Additionally, Switchfoot have earned six No. 1s on the Top Christian Albums chart, and their 2009 effort Hello Hurricane nabbed the band’s first Grammy for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. In 2023, Switchfoot released The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version), a 20th anniversary re-recording via their self-run independent label, lowercase people records.

The band was really nice ! They were good and having so much fun. They went in the crowd multiple times to be with the crowd and connect more with them. I liked the throwback songs ! Thank you Switchfoot
Reconnaissant de tout et de la foule. A fait un beau set list
Amazing concert, great humble people and beautiful music. Must Watch!
Great venue. Great sound. Great staff. We enjoyed the evening.
This event will be a core memory experience for me. Amazing to relive this album in its entirety. Amazing energy output by the band and fans.
I love going to History as the place is very cool.I’ve always purchase the parking together with my tix so I can easily park just right behind the venue hassle free. I like getting my seats where I could sit and enjoy the concert while having something to nibble at the same time, the box is the perfect spot for me always. The line up for merch is the only downside for me it took an hour for me to get my tee! Other than that all is cool.
Switchfoot is timeless! They always put on an amazing concert! Hope they come Back sooner than later!
Absolutely loved this show! The band engaged with the crowd and Jon even hopped down into the crowd to hug people and say hello. Have been waiting 20 years to see this band live and I’m so glad I did! Nice, small venue as well!
Switchfoot is a phenomenal live band. Highly recommend seeing them live if you get the chance.
The concert was incredible! Switchfoot live is even better! The event was great @ History. Not crazy packed, well organized, the sound is reallly good. Washroom was clean, parking was easy, I had a great time!
I’ve been listening to Switchfoot since I was able to make memories (my brothers started listening to them when I was 5 or 6) and I formed a really strong connection with the band whilst going through a difficult mental breakdown in high school. I’ve since had a really soft spot in my heart for this group and I’m so happy to say they exceeded my expectations at their live show in Vancouver. They were so warm and welcoming, loving and hopeful, and still as energetic and passionate on stage as I imagine they were 20 years ago. I would absolutely see them again in a heartbeat and I’m beyond thankful I got to see them live. I will never forget it. These guys have touched more lives than they’ll ever be able to count. So much love for these talented dudes. ♥️
For a band of their quality to continue doing these kinds of shows is a pretty rare thing. Don’t miss your opportunity.
I’ve loved Switchfoot’s music since I was a kid. It wasn’t just the sound but the lyrics too. They spoke to the human soul and culture insightfully, while providing a better way—and they did this so poetically too!! I finally got to go to a concert (the one in Vancouver), and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. Great venue, great atmosphere, great people, Switchfoot was legendary, the merch guy was the best (I asked, and he designs the merch too!), but unfortunately didn’t know about the aftershow. But! It broke my heart, because their performance was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, and because I’m not sure whether they’ll keep touring for long, so I don’t know if I’ll see them in concert again. I really hope so but I’m not sure!
Switchfoot was incredible! Did the VIP experience and they were so awesome… sound exactly like recorded albums - I’ve seen sooo many bands at so many venues - this was by far the best and most impactful experience ever!!!! Love love loved it !! PLEASE CONE BACK TO VAN SOON!!!!!
Great intimate and interactive venue. The Commodore had great sound and was amazing to watch Switchfoot live! Had a great night!
In 2007 I took my 13 year old fairly reserved daughter to her first concert ever and my first Switchfoot concert. Oh Gravity started up and the crowd absolutely exploded. My daughter looked back at me, screamed and proceeded to climb over people's heads and shoulders towards the front of the stage. I was so impressed with Switchfoot and the energy they brought and the way they connected with the audience. 17 years later, the crowd is older, but Switchfoot continues to bring amazing energy and connection to their show. They lit the crowd up and were absolutely awesome and entertaining. I wish they played 3 hour shows! It's impressive that they can still put that much energy out. I will always be a fan and will always be thankful for the way they launched my kid like a rocket out her comfort zone!
The show was great, but it took too long to start (2 hours after the doors opened)
I love this band, and have for 20 years. Keep rocking out!
Switchfoot connects with their fans through their music and performances like no other. The Commador ballroom creates an even better atmosphere for them to do so.
